Revealeum Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Revealeum, including the mobile application and the website at https://revealeum.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Self Employer ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Revealeum is a location-based mobile game that layers characters, stories and encounters over the real world, using technologies such as geolocation, conversational AI, voice interaction and augmented reality. The Service is in active development; features may change, be added or be removed over time.

3. Location-Based Gameplay and Real-World Safety

The Service involves moving through the real world. When using it, you must:

  • stay aware of your surroundings at all times;
  • obey all applicable laws, traffic rules and posted signs;
  • never trespass on private property or enter restricted, dangerous or inaccessible areas;
  • never use the Service while driving or operating any vehicle or machinery;
  • stop in a safe place before interacting with the Service.

You are solely responsible for your own safety and conduct while using the Service. The Service does not require, encourage or reward entering unsafe or restricted locations.

4. Augmented Reality Usage

AR features overlay digital content on your device's camera view of the real world. These overlays are game content, not physical objects. Always treat them as such, remain aware of real obstacles and people around you, and do not use AR features in situations where distraction could cause harm.

5. AI-Generated Content

Characters in the Service are powered by artificial intelligence. Their responses are generated dynamically and may be unexpected, inaccurate or inappropriate for your situation. AI characters are fictional game elements: nothing they say constitutes professional, legal, medical, financial or safety advice, and you should not rely on it as such.

6. Virtual Items, Token and NFT Mechanics

The Service may include virtual items, and we are exploring a digital ownership layer that may include a token and selected NFT artifacts. These mechanics are under development. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a future, separate agreement:

  • virtual items have no monetary value and are not redeemable for money;
  • no earnings, returns or financial outcomes are promised or implied;
  • we may modify, rebalance or discontinue virtual item mechanics as the game evolves.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the Revealeum name, brand, artwork, text, characters and software, is owned by Self Employer or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. No other rights are granted.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at https://revealeum.com/terms. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
